Lessons The Car Park!

3 months to go, £430 per month Budget to raise!

I'm sat here in Starbucks - drinking a Grande Caramel Latte working and blogging! I love half term! The sun us trying to shine, the rain has stopped, and I can see 2 people Knitting! I love Starbucks!

I went to Matlock Bath yesterday with Jess my lovely friend from Michigan. The weather was amazing, but and finding a parking space was seeming impossible. I said a quick prayer and then suddenly . . . wow. . . could it be? right in front of my eyes was someone pulling out of space. This was it, the reason I had been driving round for minutes! I put my indicator on and claimed the spot, it was mine! But just in a moment, as I glanced round, I saw a small 4x4. This driver was almost more determined than me! they drove right past me. I couldn't believe what I saw. . . as the car pulled out of MY space, (obviously it had my name on it!) The cheeky 4x4 slammed on the gas and took my space that I had prayed for. I had done the hard work and they got the credit! I could not believe it! I made my feelings clear to the driver, and then drove off in the hunt for another space.
But wait. . .what was this? As I drove round the corner, there was a guy lets call him Dave. He had pulled out of his space and signalled me over. I wound my window down to thank him, and with that he presented me with a pre-payed ticket for the rest of the day! So not only did I get a brilliant, easy to park in space, but I also didn't have to pay a penny for the privilege of parking there!

God really spoke to me about this situation! I did not deal with it well at all! I should of been gracious towards the 4x4 driver. But sometimes when we are put to the test, we fail. God knew that He had something better waiting round the corner.
I think this is true in life, I believe that sometimes God puts us in situations to test us, and to teach us! Things that seem to make sense for us, and things that we might think are the best for us, are not always the best that God wants for us, and in that moment when things are taken from us, it can seem so harsh and unfair, but if we just continue along a little further, God has something so much better planned for us!
Do not give up, but press on! God has the best for you, his plans for your life are to prosper and not to harm you! He loves you with an everlasting Love! He will not let you fall.
